JOB DESCRIPTION
• Install commercial audiovisual systems on active construction projects
• Mount TVs, projectors, displays, speakers, screens, and supporting hardware
• Perform cable terminations and assist with troubleshooting efforts
• Read drawings and determine installation requirements in the field
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks with limited direction
• Coordinate with project leadership and other technicians on site
• Assist in training, mentoring, and developing junior technicians
• Support multiple projects throughout the Phoenix market
• Maintain a safe, professional, customer-focused jobsite presence
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 2-3+ years of commercial AV installation experience
• Ability to install and troubleshoot TVs, displays, projectors, speakers, and related AV equipment with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of AV hardware, terminations, signal flow, and common AV components
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings
• Experience working in commercial construction environments
• Strong work ethic, reliability, positive attitude, and coachability
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
• Desire to grow into a leadership position and lead technicians in the future
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Phoenix market
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Previous lead technician, foreman, crew lead, or supervisory experience
• Experience building projector mounts using unistrut, all-thread, and custom support structures
• CTS certification
• Experience with commissioning and advanced AV troubleshooting
• Airport, healthcare, education, corporate office, or large commercial project experience Leadership experience outside of work (church AV teams, volunteer organizations, coaching, etc.)
