Job Description

About the Company

Our client is a global manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products with a high-volume, ISO-certified manufacturing facility in Denver. The plant runs three shifts, 24/5, and takes safety, quality and continuous improvement seriously. It is a stable, growing operation where strong supervisors can move up.

About the Role

We are hiring a first-shift Production Supervisor to lead several operating areas, including tool installation, tool assembly and repair. You will report to the first-shift Production Manager and lead a team of 10–18 machine operators and pneumatic, mechanical and general tool assemblers. You will own safety, quality and on-time delivery for your areas.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, train and coach 10–18 production team members; handle performance reviews, attendance and overtime.
  • Build a strong safety culture through training, daily safety observations and audits, and keep your areas in line with EHS requirements.
  • Run daily quality audits and drive quality issues to closure in an ISO 9001 environment.
  • Track safety, quality and on-time-delivery KPIs, and keep production documentation accurate.
  • Oversee a precision tool area where expensive, detailed tools are built and repaired, and use blueprints to guide the work.
  • Find and carry out efficiency improvements using continuous-improvement tools.

What You Bring (Required)

  • 2+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ year directly supervising production employees.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Clear, steady communication with operators, peers and management; able to handle conflict.
  • Comfortable with computers and spreadsheets (Excel).

Nice to Have

  • Metal stamping or metal forming experience.
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 (or similar) quality-certified facility.
  • Experience in tooling, tool assembly or repair, or reading blueprints.
  • MRP system experience.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or a relevant certification.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $90,000 – $100,000 base salary, depending on experience.
  • Annual bonus of 5–8% based on company performance.
  • Health insurance, 401(k) with company match and paid time off.

Schedule & Location

  • First shift with an early start (approximately 6-230pm/7-330pm).
  • On-site in Denver, CO.

Why This Role

This is a hands-on leadership role in a well-run, high-volume plant, with a clear path to grow for a supervisor who wants to move up.

Apply today. Qualified candidates will be contacted by BY Recruiting to discuss the opportunity confidentially.
